Alanna Komisar

Alanna Komisar works with the Cleantech Venture Services team at MaRS to support programming that helps develop Canada’s upcoming energy and environmentally-oriented entrepreneurs. She was also selected as an Energy & Environment Studio [Y] Fellow. The fellowship is an immersive learning program at MaRS that coaches high-potential youth in the foundations of systems leadership across different sectors.

She has a master of engineering in mechanical and industrial engineering, which involved researching the methods to create better data for future smart cities. Alanna also holds a bachelor in civil engineering in building science and during her studies she was awarded with the Enwave Design Award in Sustainable Engineering.
